Our animals are part of the family here at Sterlochy. The sheep grow cosy wool that Eileen loves to spin in the winter, the pigs are our happy little rotavators turning soil for planting, and the free-range hens keep busy laying eggs we sell locally. And don’t miss our adorable pygmy goats—full of personality, always curious, and guaranteed to steal the show (and maybe a nibble of your snack if you’re not careful!). They all live long, peaceful lives—no meat, just mischief!

From Our Croft Kitchen to Your Door
Treat yourself to a wholesome breakfast, cooked fresh each morning by your hosts using free-range eggs from our hens and the best local produce. Delivered straight to your tipi or cabin, it’s the perfect start to a slow, peaceful morning.
Breakfast is optional and not included in your stay, but if you’d like to enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast during your stay, just ask when you check in and we’ll let you know what’s available. We’re always happy to accommodate preferences, and there’s a vegetarian option too.
Each breakfast is delivered in a thermos pot to keep it piping hot until you’re ready to tuck in. We’ll bring it to you between 8:00 and 9:00am, so all you need to do is open the door and enjoy.
